A Descriptive Analysis of the Temporal and Geographical Proximities Seen Within UK Series of Sex Offenses

Abstract Previous studies of the geographical and temporal features serial sex offenses are limited by small samples and/or areas, dated. We address a significant gap in literature investigating proximity crimes 402 stranger offenders UK. Periods incarceration were extracted from calculations giving more accurate picture series duration time elapsed between same series. A notable minority commit their within very close geographic was found for proximity. There also occurrences spanning large distances many years.
